The 13th International Conference on Communication Software and Networks was Successfully Held

The 13th International Conference on Communication Software and Network (ICCSN 2021) was successfully held in Weijing International Hotel, Liyuan, Chongqing from June 4 to 7, 2021. The conference was hosted by Chongqing University and organized by the College, with technical support provided by IEEE Communications Society. Chongqing Electronics Society, Sichuan Electronics Society, Journal of Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications, and key Laboratory of Communication Network Information Transmission and Distribution Technology of No.54 Institute of CLP are co-organizers. This year's conference was held in a combination of on-site and online ways, striving to build a high-level international exchange platform for experts and scholars in this field.  

At the opening ceremony of the conference, Professor Liu Min, vice Dean of the College, delivered a welcome speech on behalf of the university and the college, extending sincere welcome and greetings to the participants, introducing the history and advantages of Chongqing University, and wishing the conference a complete success. Professor Jalel Ben-Othman from the 13th Institute of Paris, France, gave an opening speech. Professor Othman introduced the conference and expressed his sincere gratitude to the conference committee members, the experts of the keynote presentation and the participants. The opening ceremony was presided over by Chen Chen, a researcher of the college.  


In the next session, professor Xianbin Wang from Western University, Professor Ping Shen from Southern University of Science and Technology, Professor Dingping CAI from Hong Kong Polytechnic University, and researcher Zhengchuan Chen from Chongqing University were invited to deliver keynote reports.  

Intelligent 5G/6G Communications for a Connected Smart World  Professor Wang is a member of the Canadian Academy of Engineering, IEEE fellow, and Canadian First-class National Professor.  Chen Zhengchuan, a researcher of our institute, made a specially invited report at the conference, with the theme of Delay-Aware Massive Random Access Design: Adaptive Framing and Perdecoding.

The conference attracted nearly 100 researchers from China, Canada, France, the United States, Singapore, Japan, Bangladesh and other countries and regions to participate. The conference consists of 10 sub-sessions, 5 on-site and 5 online. CAI Yueping, Han Liang, Chen Chen and Chen Zhengchuan of our institute also served as the chairman of the sub-conference respectively, organizing the participants to have in-depth exchanges on communication software and network and share research results.
